From Ballymena Northern Ireland, X-RAY spent his first 4-5 years of music playing from Metal to Pop/Rock. He played mostly as the lead guitarist in his bands throughout high school. Over the years he leaned towards vocals, starting out with harmonies in a band named "SystemFreak" with his high school friends. However he moved on as the band just wasn't working out anymore. During that time he had learned how to get a basic recording together, so after the band many hours were spent recording, editing, re-recording until he had it down. After trying for a few months to find the right singer, he decided to do vocals himself in the meantime. With lead vocals he wasn't very confident in himself, but overtime began to adjust to it. This way if he wanted a melody and specific harmonies, he could just do it. After recording a few of his own projects and albums, he met up again with an old high school friend to form the band "Remnants". This is still the current band he is in to date. However he still wanted to try something different, So he began testing out different sounds and synths, way out of the comfort zone, but he was determined to learn. After a few days of trying out things, he began to write. X-RAY strummed a few chords and sang the chorus to "Don't Ever Let Me Go". Hours of recording led to the publishing of his first single.
