Biography

Driven by determination to be the best, Houston born and raised rapper Lee Mitchell aka "Telee" has definitely made his mark on the underground rap scene.Telee began writing music as a 6th grader mainly about his neighborhood Acres Home aka "Da 44" located on Houston's North Side. Telee’s first album “From Here On Out” was released in 2010 and was considered and instant underdog classic by the critics. That album was followed up by the release of his second album “The Swagga Continues” which was also released in 2010. Ridding the buzz of the previous release he was able to obtain features from platinum artist Young Buck of G-Unit and legendary Houston rapper and philanthropist Trae Tha Truth. In 2011 Telee went on to release his third album “My Finest Hour” which ultimately got the attention of another platinum G-Unit artist The Game. The track “Wut U Kno Bot Me” later remixed by Telee and The Game and released as a single. Telee would then release his fourth project “Tha Realest” in 2013 in which the lead single “Say Mayne” got attention from a few radio stations across the nation. It wouldn’t be until 2016 when Telee released his fifth album “Rise Of Tha Realest” which was basically telling the hood stories about trials and tribulations before entering the rap game. Telee would then take another 3 year break from recording only to come back to release 2 self produced albums “Last Of My Kind” in 2019 and “Realest: Season 7” in 2020 both perceived as CLASSICS.
