Carlos Feddrico Hernandez Jr. Also known as “itsBasebaby” was born September 8th, 1996 in Plantation, FL. Growing up with his mother, Joann, father Carlos Sr, little brother and older sister, Raymond and Debbie, he grew to realize that music was meant for him. With influences like The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, legends from the past and those for the future, Rap music became a heavy influence on the young MC. By the young age of 9 years old, Bass started listening to rap legend, Lil Wayne, and began to take some pointers to become the next “it” factor that Wayne was. As Base got older, he would then approach a local barbershop at the age of 16. “The House of fades Barbershop” was where he had began to stretch his wings with his flows, cadences, and just overall inspiration was found at that particular shop. Base would then perform freshly written tracks, not only to the barbers themselves, but the shop goers as well. He then realized that meeting a barber named “Skillz”, who had for a short period of time mentored and coached Base, who was known as R.I.T. (Rapper In Training) in the barbershop and also gave home his first studio session. Ages 18 to now, he has performed at a number of places such as: Dazzle In The Attic, Club Sauce, Stateside Lounge, Neche, and many more.
