The album "GO AROUND" - is a fusion of previous musical experiences in the narration of the closest and most universal language of the world. It is also a definite tribute to the contemporary improvised form, as well as a small sound laboratory, going beyond the commonly accepted jazz trio formula. The content of this album is best told only by the compositions on it. Adam Lemańczyk Mental Trio - a band founded in early 2021, consisting of: Mateusz Krawczyk - drums, Antoni Olszewski - double bass / bass guitar and Adam Lemańczyk - piano / keyboards. Mental Trio has been operating informally since 2012, when the members of the group met during their studies at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Their several years of cooperation were crowned with recordings for their debut album - “Go Around”. The band draws inspiration from the broadly understood current of jazz music - both contemporary artists and classic leaders of this genre. They closely observe contemporary fusions of jazz, hip-hop, acid and soul, thus enriching their work with the sound of synthesizers and electronics. They cooperate with such formations as: BIBOBIT, Young Power New Edition - Freedom, Wojciech Jachna Squad, Szymon Łukowski Quartet, Eljazz Big Band and many others.
