Ricardo Campbell, professionally known as ‘Wai Fuzion', wears several hats: singer, songwriter, and producer. Wai Fuzion recalls his love for music as early as 6 years old when he heard someone singing while walking on the road and enjoyed what he heard. Growing up, he witnessed his mother singing in church and was further inspired. His brother, a notable reggae acoustic singer, is also an inspiration for Wai Fuzion. Wai Fuzion:The Musical Genius Wai Fuzion hails Jimi Hendrix, Prince, James Brown, Billie Ocean, Cyndi Lauper and Michael Jackson as his musical idols. His music is the perfect eclectic blend of reggae, afrobeat, and pop sounds that helps listeners to navigate their emotions on love and relationships. “My goal is to make fans feel like they’re not alone on their love and heartbreak journey. They may be frustrated, confused, heartbroken and lost. They can’t seem to find the answers to make it feel better. I want them to know that they’re not the only ones experiencing those challenges and that others are also working on healing from hurtful situations,” he lamented. BIOGRAPHY Fuzion’s musical palate was heightened when he joined the Oberlin High School Choir during his first year of attendance. This experience taught him to not only sing but to perform. After High School he enrolled in a Performing Arts course at the Excelsior Community College and participated in the Jamaica National Pantomime in 2013.
