Jazz on life and death! In 2022 Sara Aldén released the critically acclaimed debut EP - "A Room of One's Own" on Havtorn Records in Sweden where she and her trio explores her space in jazz. In 2024 she released her debut album on Naxos Prophone SWE - "There Is No Future" in which she addresses climate and the end of everything as we know it. She stretches between jazz and improvised music with an undercurrent solid love for pop and folk music. Her trio consists of upright bass player Daniel Andersson and piano player August Björn. "In creating music, I strive towards finding a core that I can feel in my body, a sense of matterism, a sense of reason and a sense of self. I create music to belong in life and to make sense of what I process and how I see the world.
