David Daniel grew up in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia until his teenage years when he picked up a guitar, learnt to play and set about following his dream of music. He started singing at the age of 21 and a year later, he penned his first songs. 
 Staying true to the country roots that have inspired David for so long, his new 2017 single is a cover song from the legendary Garth Brooks. The song appears on Brooks' new album Gunslinger and the song got David so excited that he also recorded and released the single "Baby, Let's Lay Down and Dance". The song also appears on the 2017 covers album 'Undercovers’. 
 Looking Back which was released in November 2017, took the best that David believes that he has written over the years and put them into one collection. Looking Back marks the 20 years that David has been a singer/songwriter and this collection of tracks, his signature series. 
 2018 finds David back out looking for new tunes and into the writing process again which started off with the March 1st release of Lonely Drum. Written by Aaron Goodvin, Catt Gravitt & Skip Black, this is a nice cruising little track about being home alone and wanting some partying company. David is currently undertaking his responsibilities as a new father, operating the radio stations Rock On Radio & Boots 'N' All and trying to write songs for a new album that will hopefully be ready by the end of 2018 or early 2019.
