Biography

Will Glazier, founding member of the electronic duo Willdabeast, has been a pure force on trumpet and as a producer since his music career began at age 13 with ska-punk band Cherry Bing in Buffalo, NY which began the career of not only his but also of Michael Angelakos (Passion Pit) and others. After moving out West and finishing University studies, Glazier connected with Pretty Lights founding co-member Michal Menert. Alongside amazing other hands, the two began writing and founded the Michal Menert Big Band and eventually The Pretty Fantastics under Menert's orchestration. Glazier & de Lisle were featured on Menert's 'Space Jazz' album and credited in writing and recording on the first Pretty Fantastics album '1'. Meanwhile, Glazier continued to record. Connections continued to flow and during a mutual performance at Sonic Bloom, GRiZ and Glazier collaborated on 'A Fine Way To Die'. Soon after, Alex Medellin AKA Late Night Radio, alongside Big Band and Dynohunter bandmate Clark Smith, joined forced on the track 'Sunday Stroll'. During that time came one of Glazier's biggest achievements, the launch and inception of the project Willdabeast, which quickly became a duo, alongside best friend Dan de Lisle, who has played together in the Big Band and Pretty Fantastics since day one. The two have a special bond and friendship as displayed over their recordings and performances over the past decade in a handful of bands and projects together.
