Bahrain born, Cyprus Raised & London based: Rapper KRYPTIK lives true to his name. Enigmatic by nature, he crosses genres & cultures effortlessly blending a plethora of creative influences. In one studio session he could go from UK Rap, to Melodic Cloud/Wave Trap and finish off with a Dance track. KRYPTIK began writing music at 13. While visiting family in his Grandmother's native island of Samos (Greece) his cousin “MOSTEB” (Of Greek Rap Group ELXI 8) would take him to his first studio session. At just 15 he had already released many singles to soundcloud, opened a home studio and headlined his first show in his home city Nicosia, Cyprus. He also began working closely with Uk Based Producer/DJ drexthiscold. The pair connected on instagram, with drex quickly becoming his go-to producer despite having never met in person. By 2020 the pair were frequently doing Zoom Studio sessions with drex getting control to Kryptik’s computer and recording his projects. After moving to London in mid-2021 he would finally meet drex in person and the pair would quickly get along and become frequent collaborators. In 2023 the pair founded music collective, management & media company “THIRD CULTURE HQ.” "TRANSCENDING CULUTRE THROUGH SOUND" 2024 marks the rebirth of his career, after settling into London, making waves in the underground scene, deleting most of his old catalogue. This is the year KRYPTIK is ready to start fresh and show the industry that he’s here for the long haul.
