Growing up in New Jersey, Naya Shea, has always had a secret love for music. However, she kept her singing abilities hidden up until high school. Her mother and aunt grew up as local singers and tried to pursue music as well. Naya Shea decided to follow their footsteps and continue the dream. She grew up with R&B influences which was how she discovered her abilities as a vocalist and even a songwriter. 
 During 2019, she released her first EP, “Love Is The Word,” written fully by her and recorded in a home studio. The first track on her EP, “Just Like You” was submitted into “Hot 97s: Who’s Next” competition, in 2020, where people had to vote for songs they liked. Naya Shea was voted #1 and won a promotion deal package with Hot 97. Since then she has been releasing singles, performing and building connections in the industry. Naya Shea has grown as a singer and writer and hopes to connect with her audience through her music.
