Soeneido is one few new Jungle producers to look out for in North America. Based in Oakland, CA he has established a craze of Jungle and Drum n Bass fervor amidst the diverse dance music scene of the Bay Area. Both a producer and a DJ, he draws his inspiration and selection most from the early years of Jungle and Hardcore (breakbeat-hardcore) that burgeoned out of England in the early 90’s. Hoping to propel the genre forward while sticking firmly to its roots, Soeneido pulls from a few unconventional sampling sources such as 80’s Ninja movies soundtracks, experimental film scores, animated movies, and anime. While maintaining a passion of spinning vinyl at many of his DJ shows, he also showcases much of the newer sounds of Jungle that are currently releasing on vinyl at relentless speeds. Someone his notable released to date have been Deadly Venom Weapon (released on NOBIAS 2022), Datastorm Extended Play with Quaad (Heavy Sounds 2023) and has an upcoming collaboration EP with Soulox scheduled for October 2023 with Future Retro London.
