Mark Pelli is a singer/multi-instrumentalist from Toronto currently residing in Los Angeles. He is the guitarist and co-founder of the critically acclaimed group MAGIC! Pelli wrote the hook of the ear worm “Rude” which achieved number 1 status around the world including the US Billboard charts for 6 consecutive weeks. Rude presently has over 2 billion YouTube views. Mark is a prolific songwriter and has produced/co-written records for many artists including J. Cole, Chris Brown, Shakira, Anthony Hamilton, Trey Songz, Sabrina Claudio, JoJo, Marsha Ambrosius, Classified, and more. As a solo artist, his first single released in 2018 entitled ”You Changed Me” has over 1 million views on YouTube and got onto several Spotify-curated playlists including ‘Fresh Finds’. Mark released his second single as a solo artist in 2019 entitled “Lifetime”, which was added to many Filtr playlists throughout Latin America. In early 2020, one of Mark’s songs entitled “She’s Got What I Need” got on seven Spotify-curated New Music Fridays and scored him a record deal with Sony China. Since then, he has been releasing songs in Mandarin catered to their domestic audience as well continuing to release English material. His first single with Sony entitled “Dui Ni de Ai Go Away” was Chinese National Radio’s third top choice. Although influenced by numerous musical genres, Pelli’s music has a through-line of melodic/harmonic intensity and passion as well as instrumental and lyrical depth.
