Born in San Francisco, California to a family of musicians, Julio Price was always surrounded by a diverse range of music. Learning Saxophone in his early years he was able to explore different genres and perform at various venues throughout the city.In 6th grade, shortly after a website gave millions of people access to programs (and songs) for $0.00, he began making instrumentals and as a freshman in high school he started writing. When asked why he does music the Bay Area Artist replied: ​ "I guess you can say I was born into it. My pops practiced like 8 hours a day growing up so thats all I heard and saw. Plus when you see someone love doing something so much you want to have something like that and luckily music makes me feel that way."  When it comes to the style of music Julio personally thinks his music is somewhere between hip/hop and pop but stated:  ​ "I listen to a whole lotta music genre wise so when I start makin music I don't know whats gonna come out. Of course most the time I sit down and go for a certain type of sound but sometimes just wanna have fun." At the end of the day he writes and produces all of his music, has made thousands of songs and is just now starting to release some.
