CMP’s love affair with music can be traced back to his early childhood, growing up in Newham the East London producer is a product of the ‘Channel U’ generation. Influenced by Grime/UK rap as well as his passion for Black British culture, CMP aims to elevate and create art that represents his community. The producer prides himself in being a student to the game, always pursuing new sounds. He is a creative chameleon in his ability to combine different genres with ease. CMP has produced for artists Dremar, Nicksilver, Mak Khanye, RJ London, Isaiah Shoticuary, Dahlia Rae & Saint, and more CMP is a founding member of the London-based record label and creative collective ‘LASTNORMALYEAR’.
