Singer and Multi-instrumentalist (guitar, cittern, concertina, double bass) Sid Goldsmith is a stalwart of the English folk scene. His recordings of folk songs have been nominated for a BBC Folk Award and he's performed at countless festivals and gigs and live sessions for BBC radio 2/3. His duo with Jimmy Aldridge were awarded the number 1 spot in Songlines 'top 10 climate conscious artists'. Current projects include the duo ‘Jimmy Aldridge & Sid Goldsmith’, ‘Tarren' (trio with Danny Pedlar and Alex Garden) and 'Awake Arise/Wakefire' (summer and winter seasonal celebration shows with Jimmy Aldridge and Lady Maisery). Also a long term performer in Emma Rice's internationally acclaimed theatre adaptation of 'Wuthering Heights (World Premiere Recording)'.
