London-based electronic/house producer Blinkie burst onto the scene with his debut single "Don't Give Up (On Love)." The track is a shimmering and optimistic take on U.K. house. Don't Give Up (On Love)" received recognition from the likes of YouTube tastemaker Eton Messy, Mistajam on BBC Radio One, and Ministry of Sound Radio. Ministry's radio presenter Mike Wooler even invited Blinkie into the studio for an interview. The single saw release in late 2015 on Ultra. Blinkie has cited Quincy Jones, Rick Rubin, and Kanye West as major influences on his production style. He has produced a number of singles including J Warner's "Chill Chase" feat. Wretch 32, Jada's "Purple Skies," and Liam Prior's "Falling." Although perfectly capable as a DJ, Blinkie preferred his time in the studio; he claimed he could channel his creativity, and his emotions, to a greater extent as a producer. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi As well as his own artist project, Blinkie has worked closely with a number of super talented artists.
