What happens when two orchestral musicians, a pandemic, and some heartbreak come together? This EP and the birth of Queen kiddo - a melodically driven rock duo comprised of Karin Bliznik (vocals, guitar), former Principal Trumpet of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, and Associate Principal Percussionist, Alan Stewart (drums). With a combined 30+ years of experience playing in major symphony orchestras, they collaborate with musicians and colleagues from across the United States. Bliznik’s passion for music production and songwriting, paired with Stewart’s melodic drumming style, is the foundation of Qk’s lyrical, expressive aura.
