Wytiki is the stage name of Amsterdam based musician, producer and songwriter Wieteke Wijte (1992). After writing and making music for a while in the background (a.o. with Eefje de Visser and DeWolff), she released her debut EP ''U'' last September. Signed to the Berlin label ''Ninety Days'' (DE), the Netherlands, but also Germany, Belgium and France, are introduced to Wytiki. After this more electronic-based EP, Wieteke continues with a surprising sound. In her new work, acoustic instruments will be more central. You hear a fragile and pure sound. With the latest single “Machine (How to stay young)” she shows her softer side. In the studio Wytiki worked with Nana Adjoa on bass and Sonny Groeneveld (Jungle by Night, Nusantara Beat) on drums and Wytiki produced all of her latest new works herself.
