Coming out of Italy, Picchio dal Pozzo is one of the groups that embraced the '70s prog movement in that country. The group got their start in 1972 and released their first album, Picchio dal Pozzo, in 1975. The follow-up did not see the light of day until 1980. That album was Abbiamo Tutti i Suoi Problemi.
