Mav is a Latino mcee who was born in Chicago and moved to Phoenix Arizona in the late 90s. He released a free mixtapes in 2003 and 2004 Arizona All Stars, Vol. 2 . His debut album “Micadvancement” dropped in 2005 to rave reviews. He was 9x freestyle champ on power 92.3 and was one of the first lyrical Latino rappers to represent in Arizona. He joined forces with Brian staks, skunk one, chino d, Sal and dj Villin and started Latino rap group Sol Camp in 2005. The Collection, Vol. 1 They did shows thruout USA and Mexico and dreppped two highly anticipated mixtapes. The group disbanded in 2009 before they could drop their debut album. During that time Mav was working in his 2nd album he dropped mixtapes “Still Micadvancin”, “Mav Vs BStaks” “Bassline killa”, and “pages from my rhymebook”. In 2010 he dropped his 2nd album “Independent hustlin”. Independent Hustlin (Deluxe) After that he released mixtapes “in my zone “ and “cigarillo chronicles”. In 2013 he dropped his 3rd official album “hustle hall of fame”. Then he started grind Kingz Next Shit (feat. Snow tha Product, B Staks, Mav & Train City) movement with several Arizona mcees. They put out 1 mixtape and a self titled album “Grind Kingz”.In 2017 he dropped his 4th and final project “my artistic vision” My Artistic Vision in 2017.
