Wethu Amanda Maseko, (born 21 January 1996), better known as Milkiee, is a Swazi rapper, songwriter, qualified actress and screenwriter. Born and raised in Mbabane, Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland), Milkiee started her music journey at the tender age of 14 where she taught herself how to write and put songs together. She began her performance career in the early stages of her life; acting in the first grade and continued to take her passion for entertainment even further up to tertiary level, enrolling and graduating as a drama and film graduate at the University of Pretoria where she nurtured her music talent in between classes and rehearsals. Her career took off in 2016 after releasing a remix to the song “Panda” by Desiigner with fellow friend and Swazi artist Oriiginelle. The remix garnered enough attention to put her on the South Africa’s official MTV Base Hottest MC’s 2016 list Swazi Edition. Her first single ‘The Plug’ produced by Simtronic the DJ, dropped soon after and proved to fans that she was here to stay. She then took a break and focused on her studies until she graduated and perused other career paths she was qualified in, whilst working on her rap skills and refining her talent out of the spotlight. She began working on her debut project in November 2021, linking up with producers from South Africa and Eswatini while making relevant connections overseas. Now that she has graduated; her highly anticipated project is due and ready for release.
