A popular loner with an affinity for dark music. Young Wazi is an Artist & Producer from Nigeria. After playing steel drums in his high school band, at 13 he started making beats he could rap on. In high school, he started using social media to network with more established rap artists in his city. His first placement was by Lord D on the track Camo (SoundCloud). His first rap record "No Mud" found a place on Spotify Nigeria's first "Naija Bars" editorial playlist. Now based in Toronto, he fuses witty wordplay with haunting soundscapes and hard drums to achieve his signature sound.
