Riskyisme is a recording artist born and raised in Toronto, Canada. His passion started as a youth when he fell in love with music through his uncle who was a known producer at the time. Seeing his uncle work with artist such as The Weeknd inspired Risky to want to produce his own music which eventually lead to him becoming an artist. He spent time digesting different genres and sounds throughout those early stages which allowed him to develop an ear for his own uniqueness and style. It started with the 25th-anniversary edition reissue of Thriller gifted to him from an aunt. Enjoying the timeless body of work ultimately lead him to rap music where he credits his inspiration to artist like Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls and Drake. On May 31, 2019, he released his first project "Mood Switch”, which embodies a combination of energy, emotion, and a unique melodic flow incomparable to other artists'. His ability to dabble in various genres makes his project a relatable and timeless body of work. His most notable records include “BST”, “Thinking Bout You”. On September 27, 2019, he released his first music video for his single “Ties Getting Cut” on YouTube showcasing his vibe and vision. Followed by that after releasing a few singles, he released a second music video for his single “Not My Baby” on March 19, 2021, expressing his versatility. He returned to the scene a little over a year and released "Back Foreal", July 13, 2022.
