Biography

Coming from the greater Philadelphia area, LOMO, born Ryan Lomonaco Jr on May 14, 1999, first grew up on Rock/Metal influences. He started writing his own music as young as 7 years old, and taught himself how to play the guitar when he was 9 by looking up tabs online. LOMO was first introduced to hip-hop/rap a little as a kid, but when he was 9 he started getting more into it and by age 11 he wrote his first rap song and fell in love with it. He wrote many songs and freestyled with his childhood friend over the next few years but never took it too seriously. LOMO finally released his first song on August 23rd 2015 on Soundcloud. Then released 3 more songs by the end of 2015 and dropped a 15 track mixtape “In the Beginning…” in June of 2016. The next year he came back in March of 2017 with another mixtape, “Late Nitez: The Mixtape” which he produced 2 songs on. Since then LOMO released a couple remixes in 2018, including “Praise The Lord (Remix)” which is his most streamed song to date, as well as an EP under the alias Juno titled “Sikk Wit It EP” in 2019. Lomonaco first began producing his own music when he was 17 when making his “Late Nitez: The Mixtape” project using FL Studio on a Surface Pro 3. He continued exploring the production part of the music, as he already engineered all of his songs, and focused on making beats and making money to invest in better equipment for the majority of 2018 and 2019. Now sells his beats online, and birthed LOMO Productions.
