Singer, composer, producer, field recordist and performer. She processes natural sounds from threatened environments into original compositions, performances and workshops in combination with her voice. Her work emerges from a deep connection with the landscape merging the erotic with the mystic. She is currently working on her second album, which she is composing and producing using solely the sounds of Icelandic glaciers and her voice. This work also expands with an AV live show collaborating with the visual artists Vala Kjarval and Yin Cheng-Kokkot and with her podcast The Glacier's Song. Recent highlights include being shortlisted for Best Natural Sound in the BBC Sound of the Year Awards 2021, performing at CTM Festival 2023 in Berlin through the Musicmakers Hacklab, her latest music release Vulgia and her current tour across Europe and the UK collaborating with a variety of musicians and visual artists on improvisation-based live performances.
