I go by the name of Jag Gatz and I'm a Rap and Hip-Hop artist, born and raised in the city of Las Vegas. My influences range from all across the genre, stretching from trap to conscious music. I do my best to mix the old-school style with the modern sound. My music is centered around my complex lyricism and commanding flow, but I also like to show my range on more hype, turnt-up club anthems. From my wordplay to my rhyme schemes, I am a student of the game to the fullest, and I work to only get better with time. My personal five biggest inspirations are Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and JAY-Z. I have been putting out music since 2018, and I hope I can continue rapping for many years to come. My latest release is entitled Sensing Change. This project encapsulates that feeling you start to feel after you build a foundation in whatever you do... you start to hit a lull. Get stagnant. Feel slept-on. After that initial breakthrough that was so hard to accomplish, you don't have that same novelty that you did when you achieved everything for the first time. It is at this moment you start to feel that if you just push that extra bit... your life is about to change. It's like you can sense it. On December 30 of 2020, I released my first full-length project titled Golden Boy.
