Solar Kings 🦁 🔺 🐺 The project is the brainchild of producers Raman Gill and Juras Dauksas, who have both been enjoying success with their respective solo projects as Arkatekt and Frømme. The two began working together after they uncovered a mutual passion for sounds from around the globe and a desire to incorporate this into their productions. The two delve deep into sonic design pulling in sounds from India, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Amazon. Fuelled by this desire to bring in live instrumentation and organic warmth, they found themselves weaving in djembe, kalimba and mbira in their revitalising new take on house music. Sourcing foley sounds to add textures, the pair make deep mystical grooves creating a near binaural experience with field recordings collated from destinations as diverse as forests, churches and even Mexican jungles.
