Gold Girl is a solo project by electronic music recording artist, writer, producer, performer, and disc jockey Axel Lindy wherein Lindy focuses on subverting the rules of the genre by incorporating special effects sound design and freeform tracks into his work. Originally based out of Brooklyn, New York (now Paris, France), Lindy conveys and maintains that the human experience has immense potential and wittingly seeks to demonstrate that it does through his efforts with the project. As part of his master plan with Gold Girl, Lindy fosters his audience with the sense and reality of great possibilities existing in life; operating socially and through visual art as well as sonically. Embracing a new side of electronic music, Lindy creates his music in a myriad of different styles to put forth his unique sound which he maintains is a reflection of and way of highlighting the larger concepts behind the music itself; the playing field of human creation is truly infinite, things that appear impossible are often not, and great joy from creating desires is what life is about.
