Godlike Bear is the alias of multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Esbjörn Lilja. 2018 saw the making and the release of the dark and soulful folkpop debut album titled "Rites Of Passage". It was written, recorded and produced in a DIY manner on a small portabel recorder mostly during late hours. In the autumn of 2019 it was time to start recording the next album. This time with a more open approach to the potential of the songs, more guest musicians and argentine folkpop artist Fede Cabral was brought in as a producer and mixer. Together, Cabral and Lilja created a crossover folkpop album in their own way, borrowing from lots of genres, giving each song an own identity. In may 2020 Godlike Bears new album Antisocial Media will be released, supported by a string of singles leading up to it.
