Biography

Kincaid Rabb is an award-winning composer, specializing in storytelling and immersion through music. Whether designing an original narrative to be communicated through music or adding a musical dimension to an existing narrative, Kincaid creates a score that immerses audiences in the time and place of the story world. Kincaid produces works that trapeze artistic disciplines, curating performances that seamlessly integrate different sensory experiences. Kincaid’s collaborations have included Paradise Winds, The _____ Experiment, the Driftwood Quintet, the Red Rock Wind Quintet, Vientos Dulces, Megan Ihnen and Alan Theisen present, the Brelby Theatre Company, and the faculty and students at Arizona School for the Arts, Glendale Community College, the University of Arizona, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His principal teachers have included Daniel Asia, Pamela Decker, Diego Vega, Cynthia Wong, and Jennifer Bellor. Kincaid graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Music in Composition in 2017. Kincaid currently holds a graduate assistantship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he is pursuing a Master of Music in Composition. Kincaid is affiliated with ASCAP and is a NextGen Member of the Themed Entertainment Association.
