The Big Hustle is parisian band started in 2014, who has funk and electric jazz from the last decade as his main influences. With a powerful and tight horn section, a rock and funky rhythm section with percussions added to it, the Big Hustle’s music has a very large variety of sound landscapes, from quiet and groovy moods to moments of furious soundblasts. Still, the music never loses the groove and always stays close to the funk. The fist LP entitled Worldwide has been realeased in february 2016, including collaborations with Beat Assailant, Melissa McMillan, Nina Attal. The 2nd album Live Large features even more collaboration with Shaun Martin, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Raashan Ahmad, Mike "Maz" Maher. 3rd LP For Life released january 2021 on Betino's records label. 2023 The Dallas LP features an all star cast exclusively from Dallas, TX (Mark Lettieri, Shaun Martin, Bernard Wright, Bobby Sparks, RC Williams, Cleon Edwards, TaRon Lockett ...) The latest effort released in 2024 takes us on a new journey this time location is Tokyo Japan. City pop and various shit are explored. Sugoi !
