Ishmyel Freedmen is a Poet, Singer/Songwriter, Pianist, Digital Creator and Recording Artist, whom hails from the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. Cali born, MN raised, she began studying music in school at eight years old with violin and music composition. Writing poetry closely followed, developing her skills through short stories and songs. Throughout her 20+ years of training & experience she has utilized several mediums of musical instruments from violin, percussion, piano and woodwinds. Through poetry and music she has graced the stages of her city with her eclectic lyrics and self created trap-neosoul classical fusion sound. Meah released her debut LP entitled #Afrodisiac, and followed with two more albums, and several singles all self produced/engineered the following year.
