This enchanting artist, Tasha Joy, was brought home in April of 1974 to Space #17 at the Hidden Hollow Trailer Court located in Kearney, Nebraska. Buffalo County. No trailer. Just the space and a van. Her family had no house for her first two years of life. Her father was a sea captain and her mother, a creative homemaker and musician. Tasha grew to 5’11”, became an awarded collegiate athlete and coach, then married and gave birth to three children. Scott and Tasha have raised their family in Portland, Oregon. Miller’s eye as a self-taught 35mm film photographer has decorated walls across the country. Her voice has been followed in nearly 50 countries. Her lyrics and songs put on repeat. Miller’s artistic contributions reveal an honest understanding of the human condition with all its dialectics. It’s not uncommon to leave a Tasha Miller show having been emotionally rinsed.
