Jaia is a progressive & downtempo crossover project from France, formed in 1994. First known for his goa trance productions in the 90ies, Jaia music is now beyond formatted sounds & BPMs, and goes from atmospheric cinematic ambient to uplifting trance, crossing house and techno grooves. Jaia released 4 albums and several 12 inches too, as well as numerous tracks on various compilations, on labels such as Iboga, Tribal Vision, Digital Structures, Wagram ,Flying Rhino or JOOF. Among official remixes are 2 tracks of the French signer Mylène Farmer (“C’est une Belle Journée"and "Pardonne-Moi") together with avec Blue Planet Corporation, the classic "Chase" of Giorgio Moroder, the hit The Miky May of Aurora Borealis several Vibrasphere tracks, etc. Since 1997 Jaia has been performing live in festivals, clubs, and art galleries all over the world like Boom Festival (Portugal), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Universo Paralello (Brazil), Shambhala Music Festival (Canada), Go Madras 3D Festival (India), Shankra Festival (Switzerland), Brixton Academy (London), Cube 326 (Tokyo), ADS (Berlin), The Block (Tel Aviv), Glaz Gallery (Moscow)… In the same time, his work with Sony ATV Music as a composer and sound designer get him to release music for TV and films, like the official music TV commercial of AT&T, or collaborate with Holeg Spies on original soundtracks, for movies such as Apartment 407 or Hex.
