Pitahati is a Klang Valley based band formed in 2011, the five-piece outfit defines its music as a union of psychedelic prog-rock and Nusantara (The Archipelago) roots in their distinctive sound. 
 They released an EP titled Bintang Biru Kristal Salju the same year. The song Bintang Biru Kristal Salju received raving reviews from the fans when it was released and was considered the band’s anthem. Pitahati’s sophomore album, Fonetik Anak Candal was released in 2014 consequently nominated one of the Best Albums of 2014 in Kosmo Newspaper. 
 They scored the soundtrack for the film, Terbaik Dari Langit in 2015 earning them two nominations in the Best Film Score and Best Theme Song categories at the 26th Malaysian Film Festival. They released Selamat Datang Ke Panggung Suara the following year which was the music from the film. 
 Early 2019, they released a track titled ‘Naraka’. The song was featured as the opening theme for the Viu Original TV series ‘Jibril’. 
 In 2021 they released a collaboration cover of the classic song ‘Khatulistiwa’ with Malaysian Blues Rock legend Ito of the legendary Blues Gang.
