My name is Eric. E. E Dot. E.Keenan. I’m from Philly, born and raised. I grew up listening to every genre of music. That’s probably why my music is diverse. I’m a writer at heart. Music has always spoken to me. I’ve been singing my whole life. It wasn’t until high school, the peak boy band era, I formed my first pop band. Yes, I could dance with the best of em! Through talent shows and small locals gigs I really learned how to perform live. It was then I discovered my love of recording music. Just like music changed, I changed. Ditched the hair gel and hoop earrings for camo and timberlands. I always loved hip hop, but it wasn’t until I met a mentor of mine Mic Wrecka (Doug Jenkins), did I really start rapping seriously. He was an elite lyricist and I just wanted to impress him. During this time I had started a new band, “Soulcalist” with a close musician friend and my two brothers, Matt Keenan, and Kinyon Lanier. We rocked every venue in the city. We wrote classic songs. It really molded me into the artist I am today. Then real life happened. Family, kids, jobs. The usual. The pandemic was a blessing in disguise. During it I downloaded a music app and connected with 2 MC’s who I now call brothers. Standing along side them as one third of the “Trinity”, and my own two feet as a solo artist, we’re finally allowing the world to catch up to what we already know!
