Originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa, Amarie Farari is a refugee who Came to the U.S at 9 years old,and now considers the northside of Chicago his new homeland. Amarie Farari’s entrance to America was less than glamorous. He was a full fledge refugee after his father was shot in the arm by Sierra Leonean rebels (A civil war was going on back then and that is why he is here.) There is a saying that goes something like this:anytime a door closes, a window opens. As a way to deal with the trauma and stress of experiencing atrocities Amarie Farari found his voice by being creative. Alternatives Inc., an organization that helps youth introduced Amarie to music and breakdancing. Seeing that Amarie was so young when he started (he was 11 years-old when he joined a breakdancing crew, Connect Force.) He cannot take complete credit for his success because he had the good fortune of working with Mike Spex, Jezi Like many rap colleagues rapping has kept him off the streets and out of trouble (for the most part). after having few brush with the law. He promised his father that one day he will become successful and bring his mother and three other sibilings to America.bye working hard on his music."Music became my first love ever since i came to America..and yes i am going to make it"He said.
