I. Vidal’s passion for Jazz music was born right when he first attended a music summer school course when he was 9. By the time he was 13, he was already composing swing melodies. He says that his early works were all inspired by the music of greats such as Dick Johnson and Benny Goodman. Given the artists with which he grew up listening, he picked the clarinet as his instrument of choice. And much later, he founded Relaxing Instrumental Jazz Academy with drummer lifelong friend Alfredo G. Roda. The duo released a few songs, but they initially didn’t get much recognition. The two eventually split. However, Vidal kept pursuing his dreams of making it as a Jazz musician under the same name. His efforts paid off only years later, when the 35 years old artist released his self-produced album “Soft Jazz Instrumental Jazz Guitar Music Relaxing Jazz Music” in 2010. He’s now an artist and a producer with many active collaborations in the industry. And aspires to become the next big name to be remembered in the jazz community.
