He has collaborated with some of Norways most famous musicians and singers like Silje Nergaard ( Norwegian Boatsong ), Anne Grete Preus ( Månesyster ), Trygve Skaug ( Der var du ), Knut Reiersrud ( Alt Som Før ) and if you listen to Ingebjørg Bratland’s album Berre meg you’ll hear Kim’s voice doing background vocals on many songs.
Kim has also participated in Melodi Grand Prix, first back in 2012 with the song Så Vidunderleg (a massive radiohit) and again in 2020 with Rainbow written together with Knut Bjørnar Asphol. He collaborated with the London Philharmonic Orchestra to create the timeless iTunes no. 1 christmas album Snøen laver ned (Bonus Track Version) from 2018.
His debut album Tak Hardt Uti Hand from 2007 was won "Solo Album of the year" at the Norwegian Folk Music Awards, and his second album Vegen was nominated for a Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) in 2011. On album no three Timeglas Kim collaborated with pianist Helge Lien and guitarist Hallgrim Bratberg and they had a big radiohit with Ein Song Er Ein Song.
During the pandemic Kim released two albums: Draumkvedet with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, and in 2022 a book and album called Or Setesdal. Both to rave reviews!
