West London lyricist, Life's first love was poetry, a form of expression which had been ignited at the tender age of 6 by his adoptive mothers yearly trips to the legendary poet Maya Angelou's thanksgiving functions in the US. Here he would be surrounded by the likes of Quincy Jones, Gladys Knight, Ashford & Simpson, Oprah Winfrey + more!! Unaware of the influence the heavyweights of the entertainment industry held as they were part of an audience that gave this then young boys performance a standing ovation. Early 2017 saw the release of Fix The Feeling featuring Lord Apex - Life & Apex also linked up for a nostalgic video! "Fix the Feeling" is taken from the "Fix" EP, produced by Virginia bred DJ Harrison of Butcher Brown. In late 2017, Life released "0-90", an outtake mixtape produced entirely by Tuamie. The lead record "Lemon Sherbet" accompanied by a formidable visual was premiered by Nas' label Mass Appeal. Following "0-90", Life returns with his most recent effort "Girls Don't Mind" featuring vocals from the amazing Aanya Martin! The song was produced by Los Angeles based producer Ahwlee & is taken from Life's forthcoming record "Jones" Life's currently in the studio working on a new project which he holds dear to heart & hopes can be used to keep the music that inspired him alive! With support from MTV, Mass Appeal, Complex & Rolling Stone already at this early stage in his career, It's safe to say the foreseeable future looks promising!
