Biography

ANDA member Dutch Kills is a Hip-Hop and R&B artist from Los Angeles, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. Dutch's music is best described as contemporary trap with elements of jazz rap, indie rock, and chill-hop, as he's highly influenced by artists such as Anderson .Paak, Saba, and Isaiah Rashad. Being faceless on streaming for far too long, Dutch Kills is an extremely experienced rapper, being heavily featured on ANDA’s Phase 2 as well as DAE the VIDEO (then L. Profit)'s early projects 2020 and I'm Afraid of Very Little appearing on one of L. Profits most successful tracks, Kitsch. Having Joined ANDA in july 2021, Dutch was instrumental in shaping the sample-based contemporary hip-hop sound of ANDA, as well as fellow early members Tehillah LeFou, Hymn, and DAE the VIDEO. In terms of lyrical content, Dutch Kills often pens extremely intimate bars, with much of his music being in "stream of thought" or some other form of high-concept, deeply personal writing style, such as ANDA tracks Das Not Me, and Fax Machine as well as his streaming debut Post Its. It's not all deep however, as Dutch is one of the premiere punchline rappers in the rap underground, who is known to also make high-energy party songs, such as CANDID, UR CHOICE, and Clear My Mind.
