Diana Bidèa is a Long Island born artist living in New York City, and with a background in classical music and soul, she found her sound in blending genres together to make her music. She grew up in a house where her mother played fresh singer/songwriter music like Carol King, and Stevie Nicks, and her father would play more soulful sounds like Peabo Bryson, Average White Band and Earth Wind and Fire. After rejecting a full scholarship for classical voice, she was determined to find a voice to call her own. She grounds herself in the New York culture and underground sounds, using local musicians, producers and artists to collaborate on her music. She has described her creative process as “turning pain into poetry and poetry into lyrics”. Her influences of 90's vocal divas and early 2000's pop/R&B queens is very prominent in her music. Besides her own music, she also has accumulated over 460 thousand followers on tiktok through her voice of women empowerment. Her new EP “ATTICS” is to release April 7th .
