Nataki Lendor began singing at the early age of 7 being introduced to music through the children choir at the Point Fortin Church of the Nazarene. In 2003, she began singing with Jeunes Agape where she was introduced to folk music, calypso and soca. Nataki holds a Bachelor in General Studies with concentrations in Psychology & Counselling and Music from the Caribbean Nazarene College (CNC).During her time at college she served for three (3) years as the Assistant Director of the CNC Ensemble under the leadership of Cleon Richardson of Camari Music. After graduating CNC, Nataki spent one year at Oral Roberts University studying Musical Theatre. However, she was unable to complete the program but on her return to Trinidad, she garnered the lead roll in JCS’s production of Mahalia: A Gospel Musical, where she was able to tell the story of the infamous gospel singer Mahalia Jackson. Nataki is a singer with a dynamic voice whose purpose is to use music to speak the Word of God with a mission to encourage and let people know that life can get better, helping to change the perspective of an individual. She believes that through the arts a person can take their mind off their situations and enjoy themselves in the moment allowing for a great impact with sweet sound and a strong message.
