I was born and raised in Pill, Newport, Wales, an area that's far from the nicest place to live in the UK. Growing up there made me hungry for more, as I saw how easy it was to fail and the different ways I could have dealt with life. I wanted better for myself and the people around me. While the lifestyle typical of my area was tempting, I knew it wouldn't allow my family to live comfortably. I discovered my talent for singing at a young age, but I taught myself to write lyrics by learning to rap. This combination of singing and rapping makes me unique and versatile, allowing me to suit various music styles.
