I don’t need to write my bio in third person who does that. This is me, My name is Naomi Rogue everyone calls me Rogue and i like the thought behind NR, simple. i make music, i come from a background of many uncles, cousins, my grand ma and my mama, we were the regular African family that would go to church every other Sunday, have a family thanksgiving and just come together for important celebrations, we weren’t perfect but it was a beautiful time, my mama is/was a hustler and i like to think i got my hustle spirit from her till this day. my earliest memories of music comes from my mum and her brothers always playing different genres of music especially in the mornings from UB40 to Don Moen, Kenny Rogers Dolly Parton, Lucky Dube, Bob Marley, Psquare, 2face, Infinity, 2Pac and more. I found my own way to making music by joining the church choir and partaking in some school activities that either had to do with dance, music or arts in general, and at some point i started writing and making covers, the first of many was Nicki Minaj’s Pillz N Potions and the rest we can say is history. I can’t say what genre my music fits into because my music is a blend of so many worlds, so many emotions, you just have to get pulled into my vortex and come with me and soon you’d find yourself listening to the most incredible masterpieces you’ve ever heard. i’m here putting together my first body of work “Redemption” and from this point forward all i can say is greatness is here.
