Amari is the stage name of pop singer and songwriter Brooke Miller. Born and raised in Bend, Oregon she began her musical journey at the age of 9, joining the Youth Choir of Central Oregon. From there she learned how to read music, play piano, and went on to sing in jazz choir in both middle and high school. At 16 she started doing song arrangements for choir at school and writing original songs at home. She decided to make the big move to Los Angeles in 2013 where she began studying music. It's been a journey but she's here with her musical debut. Amari bends the lines and morphs pop music with a hint of hip hop/rap melodic tendencies in her laid back yet charming sound
