Tyrant is a DJ/Producer from East London known for his percussive and bass heavy productions which take influences from UK bass music genres such as UK Funky, Dubstep, Garage & Drum & Bass. Tyrants eclectic multi genre DJ sets also span a wide range of UK bass music sounds between the 130 - 140bpm range. Tyrant has received regular radio support from BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, Reprezent, Kiss & more. 2022 was an eventful year for Tyrant; Tyrant released 'Forward that' via Marcus Nastys 'Nasty Bros' label. Later that year he followed up with his second Nasty Bros release, his debut EP entitled ‘The Turbo Island EP’ which received incredible support in the scene including multiple plays on BBC Radio 1 and a huge play on the radio 1 stage at Glastonbury. To round off a successful year of producing for Tyrant, Turbo Island was included in Jaguars BBC Radio 1 ‘best of 22' show.  On the DJing front, Tyrant had guest appearances on well known radio stations such as Kiss Fresh, Rinse FM, Reprezent Radio & Flex FM. Without a doubt, the highlight of 2022 was Tyrant's performance at Outlook Festival where he performed on the Kickers Stage.  2023 has seen Tyrant remain active by releasing 2 EP’s on the Nasty Bros label and 2 Singles via 1Forty which have been supported on Radio 1 and Rinse FM. The East London producer has also collaborated with Bristol MC Slowie on ‘Bristol Riddim’ which was released on Durkle disco & released an official remix for Daffy x Riko Dan via Hot haus.
