Cisser Mæhl is a danish composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist living in Oslo, Norway. She works with music production in multidisciplinary collaborations and the 3rd of March 2023 she released her debut album Innemuseum at the Berlin-based label Sonic Pieces. Cisser Mæhl has a master degree in film composition from the danish National Academy of Music (SDMK) and she composes music for films, computer games, performing arts and litterature. Innemuseum was critically acclaimed, and described as followed: “Cisser Mæhl’s debut solo album is a slow-motion set of hushed Danish lullabies that’s well worth filing alongside Björk’s “Vespertine” and Colleen’s “The Weighing of the Heart”. BOOMKAT “It’s music for quiet thinkers and daydreamers. For those inclined to explore their own consciousness via the star gate opened by hers”. – NORDIC MUSIC CENTRAL “The structures and arrangements are similarly intuitive, as Mæhl’s songs feel far more like miniatures or poems than structured songs”. – BRAINWASHED
