Destined for the spotlight and donning a stage name Gerald Long II was born (October 12, 1983) in Detroit, Michigan better known as Rapper/ Producer “Nefu Da Boss.” By the age of 10 Nefu participated in writing competitions and received several writing awards from the Detroit Public Schools. After winning the writing competitions Nefu attended Lawrence Technological University to study Computer Science and Information Technology for 4 years before dropping out of school to start his record label “Omni-Records.” Nefu began to produce tracks, and wrote his first three mixtapes and albums which some of the tracks remain online on several Music upload sites such as itunes, apple music, spotify, soundcloud, and Amazon.com.
