Biography

Bernhard Zimmermann represents the pop music of the 1980s in all its genres. From pop ballads like Billy Joel, rock hymns like Toto, to electronic synth pop like Ultravox, A-ha or Fiction Factory, he writes and produces in all styles. Over the years he has released several albums and singles, which have made an impressive impact on the revived interest in this still shining decade in music. As an Austrian he was nominated to represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest with the Song The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter in 2011. He later recorded with international melodic rock musicians like Michael Landau (who recorded with Pink Floyd) or Robbie Buchanan (Cher, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion). In the last couple of years he focussed on electronic synth pop and gained considerable international success with singles like Ghost In The Machine or Return To Vienna. In 2024 he released his new single Missing, which will be followed by a new solo album in 2025.
